The Applegate Group Inc., founded in 1991, is a multimedia production company. Executive producer, Jane Applegate, is an experienced producer who has worked on several documentaries and feature films with theatrical releases. She has also written and produced long and short-form cable and broadcast television programs.
In recent months, TAG has produced original web and video content for corporate clients including: Microsoft, Cox Communications, MasterCard, iVillage.com and Pitney Bowes. We are currently producing two feature films, both about strong women.
, the script by Erica Fae, is based in part on true stories about America’s first female lighthouse keepers who battled the Coast Guard to keep their jobs after their husbands or fathers died.
Stolen Goods, written and co-produced and to be directed by Meryl Joseph, is about a photojournalist who cannot adjust to domestic life between covering wars. An inadvertent encounter with a Southern sharecropper changes both their lives.
